Empowering Youth Through Technology, Innovation, and Opportunity

The TechBridge Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to STEM education and technology career pathways for at-risk and under-served youth across North Georgia. Through FutureMakers Academy, youth esports programs in Georgia, and community-based training, we equip young people with the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to build brighter futures.

About the Foundation

Founded with a mission to bridge the opportunity gap in technology, The TechBridge Foundation Inc serves students across Gwinnett, Hall, Barrow, and Jackson counties. We partner with schools, families, community leaders, and industry professionals to deliver hands-on learning, mentorship, and workforce development experiences that prepare youth for careers in emerging technology fields. Our work centers on creating pathways for youth who often lack access to high-quality STEM programs. Every initiative we lead is grounded in empowerment, inclusivity, and community collaboration. The TechBridge Foundation Inc. was established by Walt Carter, a seasoned operations and network engineering professional with over 45 years of leadership experience.
